Am searching for any information on the ancestors, parents, sibilings or information on Joseph Kubik, born Sep 29 1878 in "Dubova' Slovakia in the area near the border of Liptov and Orava Counties and who died in May 1964 in Chicago Illinois. Believe his birth village could possibly be Valaska' Dubova, but all that mom-in-law can remember is "Dubova". He married Anna Krasica (1879-1922).
They had two children, Frank Rudolph Kubik (born Mar 27 1917) who was born in Chicago IL and who died in October 1981 in Mass City Michigan. We have no further info on Frank Kubik, don't even know if he was married!
The second child was Emmanual Joseph Kubk, born Aug 2 1920. Emmanual was adopted by his godparents, Anna and Joseph Sheron (spelled Siron in Slovak), after h is mother died.
Joseph Kubik Sr. went on to remarry to Mary Prisazny (1886-1976) and they had two children Joseph Kubik Jr. and Jane Kubik.
Would appreciate any information on this Kubik family!
