I do not know if this Vaclav could belong to us. I really think that our family came to America in May of 1881. I have purused many, many ship records and can never find mine. A couple of years ago I was in Salt Lake and I spent the entire time I was there trying to find this. I know that they put on new stuff all the time. Where did you find this record. On film ? in a book? Where was record from? Castle Garden? Thank you so much for responding to me. Our Frantisek was born March 30, 1843 and came to Oxford Junction Iowa and eventually to Tama and Marshall Counties of Iowa. His Father was also a Frantisek and his mother's name was Katerina Jirickova which I have been told is "George" in English. Keep in touch. My e-mail is fckubik@netins.net and I live at St.Marys Iowa Yes my husband was also a Frank. I am a widow and 70 years. I have done genealogy for 40 years. Thanks much Carol Kubik
