Annabel. Your inquiry intrigues me. The similarity of the village names, etc., We are Kubik's in Iowa who cannot associate ourselves with any other family that we find. We came from Visoky Myto in Bohemia. The g.grandfather was Frantisek and all 8 of his children were born in Dzbanove,Bohemia.

You say your Josef was born in September 29, 1878. I have a Josef who was of Frantisek's sons. He was born January 4, 1858.

None of the other surnames, etc., ring any bells.
sincerely, Carol Kubik
