Josepha Burzynski Kubiak/Bartholomew Burzynski
I am looking for information on the Burzynski family in South Bend, Indiana and Pittsburgh PA.My great, great grandfather was Bartholomew Burzynski (1851-1936).He and his wife Maryanna Czekalski Burzynski (1847-1937) immigrated to the United States in 1885 with their son Lawrence (1878-1972) and daughters Josepha (ca. 1875-1904) and Anastasia (born ca. 1884).The family initially settled in the Pittsburgh, PA area where another son, Michael was born in 1886.Michael is my great grandfather, and he died in 1952.In 1900 Bartholomew, Maryanna, Lawrence, and Michael moved to South Bend, Indiana.Josepha was already married by this time to Michael Kubiak, but by 1902 Josepha, her husband, and their two children (Catherine born ca. 1894 and Constantine, born ca. 1900) had settled in South Bend as well, where they had another daughter, Leokadia/Lillian in 1902.I have been unable to find the Kubiak family in the United States census and I was wondering if anyone had found them, specifically in the 1900 census as I believe Constantine was born in PA in 1900.Also, Anastasia died between 1884 and 1900 since she is not listed as living with her parents in 1900, she was too young to be married and left behind in Pittsburgh, and her mother is listed as having only three living children in 1900.So I was wondering if anyone had come across Anastasia Burzynski's birth or death dates in their research. Finally, Josepha died in South Bend in 1904 and I was wondering if anyone had any information about her and her husband.
