Anitra Birth and death records in the State of Kansas, before the state took over these duties in the 1911-1913 era are few and far between. This is because most county clerks, who were responsible to keep the records did not keep them. However you may be able to find some information as the City of Kansas City, KS did keep birth and death records in the 1892-1913 time frame. The Kansas State Historical Society has microfilms avaiable for interlibrary loan to your local public library or LDS Family History Center. Visit this lnik to get the microfilm numbers, listed under Kansas City, KS. You should also visit the link to the KSHS ILL policies, which can also be found at the link below. Note that the Society will only let you ILL two films at a time. http://www.kshs.org/genealogists/localgovt/microfilm/wyandotte.htm Good Luck Dave Goldy Overland Park, KS Notify Administrator about this message?
