I am searching for information about my husband's great grandmother, Hettie Mitchell. She was married to William Bacus in 1867. They had a son, Edmond, and a son Fred who died at birth. Hettie died at the age of 30. Edmond was my husbands grandfather. He also died at the age of 30. I cannot find the parents of Hettie. I do think that her grandmother was Hester Mitchell who appears in the 1860 Census, but cannot find Hetties's parents. Does anyone have any information about this Mitchell Family? Any help would be appreciated.
They lived in Neosha Falls, Woodson County, Kansas.
