Brown of Greenleaf

I'm trying to identify the parents of

Alice J. Brown,
wife of Jackson Brown
born Oct 1856 in New York
married 1877 in Clay County, KS
censused 1900 in Greenleaf, Washington County, KS
children include: Clinton M., Ada A., Warwick T. and Jackson

I'm trying to find if she was the owner of a Bible inscribed to "Alice J. Planck" by her father Josiah Planck in 1870, on the front of which is stamped in gold, "Alice Brown". That Alice was born 1856/57 in Lewis County, NY, and the Bible was found in our family's possessions in Topeka in the 1950's.

I'd appreciate any help anyone might be able to provide in this quest.

Paul
Sunnyvale, CA
