I have nothing for you on Esaia Snavely. My father and grandfather were in the Nez Ppeirc, area in Idaho in about 1900 and there was a (I think Tom) Snavely there. He was a cowboy and would some times catch an Indian ponies colt for dad to play with for a while. This was in an area that was the Nez Perice Indian Reservation.
