I ran across some information about my mother's first cousin. His name was George Raymond Hight. He was born 28 Nov. 1899 in Kaw City, OK to John and Eldora Kibbe Hight. Story goes that he was in Macksville, Stafford Co. KS and robbed a bank there. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation was waiting for him. He was shot and killed during a gun fight on 16 Sept. 1941 in Macksville. I am not sure if he was married or had any children. He is buried in Dodge City, KS.
