Grandma Cline Dead.
Grandma Cline, mother of Sheriff J. B. Cline, died Thursday afternoon July 20th at the Cline home in this city.
Isabelle King was born at Campbellsburg, Kentucky, June 30, 1829 and was married over fifty years ago to Henry Cline, who departed this life May 2, 1907. She was the mother of six children: Mrs. E. N. Wells, of Pratt, Kansas; Henry Cline, California; J. B. Cline, St. John; George Cline, Dover, Oklahoma; Jennie Harris, Langdon, Kansas and Mrs. Nona McFarland, of Hutchinson, Kansas.
She was a pioneer settler of Stafford county having come with her family in 1876 and settling on a farm near Leesburg which was her home until moving with her son J. B. Cline and family a few years ago to Stafford, and later to St. John, where she spent the last two and one-half years of her life.
Although never confined to her bed, she had been in failing health since last April, dropsy being the cause of her death.
After a short service at the house in this city, her remains were taken to the Leesburg Church of Christ, of which organization she had been a member for many years. The services were conducted by Elder Crenshaw and interment was in Leesburg cemetery. – County Capital.
