My Great Aunt, Mary G BURKHARD, b IA 1881 m Michael DUFFY b 1870, PA.

Michael DUFFY lived with his parents John J & Bridget ? and his siblings James, Lizzie, and Mary A in Esbon, Jewell Co, in 1880.

John J DUFFY was born in Ireland c 1830. Bridget was born in Ireland c 1835. John died before 1910, and Bridget after 1910.

In 1900 the family was living in Webster, a rural farm area in Smith Co.

Michael was living with his sister Lizzie in Esbon in 1920.

Michael and my Aunt were married c 1920. They were living in Webster Twp in Smith Co in 1930.

They are both buried in Esbon, Michael died in 1942 and Mary in 1962.

Marys' sister Frances V BURKHARD, b 1878 in IA, also died in Esbon, in 1973. Frances was still living in NE in 1930. Frances was a nurse.
