ZIMMERMAN from Reamsville
Posted by: Bonnie Madsen Date: March 02, 2002 at 10:58:06

Looking for info on a large Zimmerman family that lived in Martin township for the 1920 census. The husband's & wife's names were not very legible, but I think they were Floyd (or Lloyd) and Mirtle M. Ten children were listed: Viola, Ola, Edgar, Earl, Lela, Opal, Alma, Leo, Ralph and Arlie(?). There was another daughter, Marie Ruby, that was born just after the census 6/26/1920.

They moved from Kansas to Oregon. Though I don't know at this time what year, I am told that Marie remembered the journey, so I would assume she was a young girl...maybe 1925-1930?

If these names look familiar or if there's any look-ups on line that you can suggest...please contact me.

Thank you,
Bonnie
