HIBBARD, L.R. in Smith Co, KS in 1870s

HIBBARD, L.R. and his wife Mary L. HIBBARD may be my g-g-grandparents. They were in Smith Co, KS in the 1870s when L.R. was elected as one of the
first County Commisioners of Smith Co, KS. L.R. and Mary L. HIBBARD are buried in Smith Co, KS. I believe that L.R. HIBBARD was born about 1800 in
Onondaga Co, NY and moved to Taylor Co, IA before moving to Smith Co, KS.
The L in L.R. HIBBARD's name is probably for Leverett.
Any information on this family would be appreciated.
