I am seeking any information on the family of Joseph Arnold Delay and wife Lurvina/Lavina/Luvina Shephard. He was born in Iowa in about 1858. She was born in North Carolina in about 1871 to Leander Shephard and Margaret Emaline Farmer. They were married in Rooks Co., Kansas 19 Jan. 1889. Their known children were: Sylvia, Ethel, Lloyd, Bertha, William (Willie), Lawrence and Bernice. Joseph and Lurvina lived in Plainview Twp., Phillips co., KS and on the 1920 and 1930 US Census they are living in Voltaire, Sherman Co., Kansas. One of their daughters married a Vogel as they had two granddaughters in their household in 1930 with the surname of Vogel.
