(Continuation of obituary)

William Milton Waite was born in Blair county, Pennsylvania, January 21, 1857, and died at his
home in this city, September 29, 1921, age 64 years, 8 months and 8 days.

In the early 80's he came with his parents to Clyde, Kansas and later to Hoxie, where he spent the
rest of his life except two years that he resided at Selden.

He leaves a wife, five sons and daughters, all of whom were with him when his spirit departed,
also four sisters and one brothers, to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband, father, and

Funeral services were held at the home on Friday afternoon in charge of the Masonic order, of
which he was a faithful member. Rev. C. A. Davis of the Hoxie M. E. church preached the
funeral sermon.

A large concourse of friends came to pay the last sad tribute of respect to their neighbor and
friend, which showed the high esteem in which he was held.

At the grave the beautiful burial ritual of the Masonic lodge was carried out.

We wish to extend our sincerest thanks to all our friends and neighbors who showed us so much
kindness and sympathy, and assistance in our bereavement, also for the many beautiful floral
offerings and especially the Masons, who so tenderly laid to rest our beloved husband and father.
Mr. Waite and Children.
