I would appreciate a lookup if anyone in Topeka is going to the Kansas State Historical Society. My great-grandfather Henry Thomas Larrabee and wife Jane Larrabee went to Haskell CO KS in 1887 or 1888 (Henry then died of typhoid in October 1888 and Jane returned to Illinois). My question is whether a record may be available of their land purchase; online information is that the KSHS has tract books and maps, plats, and records of purchases from the Land Office. I am able to return the favor with lookups at the Newberry Library in Chicago (see online; they have ship passenger lists, military records, and many more genealogy resources). Thanks.
