I'm looking for any information on Katharine's mother, Lotha (Douglas) Crowder. My grandfather, Homer Douglas, was her sister.

Memorial service for Katharine Loeppke, 78, of Broomfield, Colo., was 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Allenspark (Colo.) Community Church. A second service was 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Golden West Manor, Boulder, Colo.
Mrs. Loeppke died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, at Hospice of Boulder County in Louisville, Colo.
She was born Nov. 30, 1921, at Appleton City, Mo., the daughter of Vern Smithweaver and Lotha (Douglas) Crowder. She grew up in Liberal.
Mrs. Loeppke taught public schools and private music lessons in various towns in southwest Kansas and directed church choirs, most recently at Allenspark Community Church. She was a member of PQ Chapter of P.E.O., Kansas Music Teachers Association and LaTritone at Colorado Womens College.
She married Archie Roy Loeppke on Aug. 7, 1949, at Liberal. They lived in Lakin before moving to Boulder in 1990. They spent the summers in Raymond, Colo.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Larry Loeppke, Skokie, Ill., Dr. Ronald Loeppke, Franklin, Tenn., and Bruce Loeppke, Sarasota, Fla.; two brothers, Hugh Crowder, Johnstown, Colo., and Ray Crowder, Boulder; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Kay Loeppke Music Memorial Fund, in care of Allenspark Church, P.O. Box 45, Allenspark, CO 80510 or the Golden West Foundation Music Fund, 1055 Adams Circle, Boulder, CO 80303.
Rundus Broomfield Funeral Home, Broomfield, was in charge of arrangements.
