Gustav Emil & Emilie Anna (Kretzschmar) Gabelein settled in Russell Co., Kansas in 1890. He was on school board. Several children born there. Daughter, Milda, buried in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dubuque, Russell Co. cemetery. No marker. Believe they settled there to be near relatives of Emilie's named Schreiner. Would like to contact Schreiner family or additional information on Gabeleins. They moved to Hayward, Wisconsin and then Whidbey Island, Washington.
