Here's hoping some kind soul can help with cemetery listings, obits, and the like.
I've followed the family of Jason and Judy Robison/Robinson Snyder from Monroe Twp., Bedford Co., PA, to Union Twp., Rice Co., KS. Jason was born ca. 1848 in PA, and died sometime between 1891-1900 in Union Twp. His wife Judy plus 5 of 6 children are found in the 1900 census in Union Twp., with Judy listed as widowed, and the following 5 children: Olida V., Ira O., Ralph, Clyde, and Herman Snyder.
Ralph appears as "Guy" Snyder in the 1910 census, and has married a Beulah M__? by 1920; they have two children, Morris and Dwight Snyder. Olida V. Snyder does not appear in the 1910 group, and has apparently married and left.
Nativities for the children suggest that the family came to Union Twp. around 1886 or so; Ralph/Guy Snyder was born in March of 1884 in PA, while Clyde Snyder was born in April, 1889 in KS. No doubt the deceased sixth child was born around 1886, either back in PA or after their arrival in KS.
Judy Snyder is not found in the 1920 census, and is apparently deceased, or perhaps has moved away with one of the children. Jason is no doubt buried in Union Twp., perhaps with other family members.
