My husband died in 200, and our children wants to know more about his family. That family is really hard to find, even though there were 10 children in my father-in-laws family. he was the only boy,and I don't know the married names of his sisters or where they lived, except one lived in Ok. and one lived in Ark. My faher-in-law was Ralph Worthingtona nd was born in 1911 in Langdon, Reno Co., Ks. His birth certificate was destroyed in a fire in the hopital or court house. His parents were Edward/Edwin Worthington , born about 18373 in Henry Co., Il.,and he had a brother named George , born about 1868 in Il. He married a woman by the name of Martha McCune. I don't know if that was her maiden name or her married name from her first husband. Edward/ Edwin may have been married before, I really don't know. I was never able to find anything out about Edward/Edwin's brother , except his first name or posible birth year and state. Edward/ Edwin Worthington's father was Henry C. Worthington , born about 1837 in Bucks Co., Pa. and he married Clara Ash born 1844 in New York. Except the names of Ralphs sisters, I really don't know anything else about the Worthington family. Edward/Edwin Worthington, and his family lived in Geneseo, Henry Co., Il.,and in the 1900 census, Clara and George still lived in Henry Co., Il. The father was not mentioned, in that census.
