Yes, there was a county farm in Reno County just West of Hutchinson. It was called the Reno County Poor Farm and later was called Broadacres. As a poor farm it is no longer in existence. The property is now run as a private retirement home. We have been trying to locate the records but as yet have had no luck. It is possible the might be in the Underground Vaults and Storage in the Salt Mines.
If I find out anything new I will let you know.
