Searching for descendants to share with or anyone who can help me find details on a family J. B. White (wish I knew his first name) and wife Maria Griffith. They arrived to Pottawatomie Co, Kansas between 1857-59 from Jackson County, Missouri. Maria was born at Kentucky about 1825 & J.B. in Maryland about 1822 per the 1860 census. Maria's brother, Joshua migrated to Anderson County, Kansas. It appears J. B. died between the 1860 and 1865 census. Maria remained unmarried and at Pottawatomie Co. thru 1880 but by 1885 she'd moved near her brother in Anderson Co, KS. She had the following children with approximate BDs: George 1853, M. Elizabeth 1855, Jennie 1857, James W. 1859 & Darcas 1861. Appreciate any clues - Allan Griffith, Bloomington, Illinois, USA - magrif@verizon.net
