I am looking for possible descendants of Peter LaClare, who was born about 1835 and was an allottee for land in Richardson County, Nebraska (town of Rulo). I believe his sisters were Susan and Henrietta as they were all on the list of allottees. Susan was my husband's ancestor who married Eli Plante and had a daughter Selena Plante. I am not sure, but Peter may have married Adaline and was in Belvue, Kansas by 1880 (right name and age but not sure this is the same Peter LaClair/LeClair). Peter and Adaline had Moses, Mary A, Charles, Louisa, Selana (Selena?),David, Oscar, Una? This family was in Cleveland County, Oklahoma in 1900 (father Peter was deceased at this time). Peter and Adaline's son, Charles married a Leona about 1897 and had: Arthur LaClare (March 1898) and Roy LaClare (Jan 1900). In 1920 Census, Charles M LaClair and his wife, Nora are in Bennet County, South Dakota. Children in 1920 census: Roy, Rhoda, Bertha, Charles, Harold, Leona, Ruby. Family still here in 1930 Census.
