Hello,
My knowledge of Kansas wouldn't fill a thimble - which I am trying to rectify real quick! -, as I have never been there. I am trying to clear up some old research done by a lady who is no longer living.
The way some atlas' are printed, it is difficult to make out the county lines. They list only one Manhattan, which I presume is in Riley Co, only?
She has the Sunset cemetery as being in Manhatten, Pottawatomie Co, KS, but a search shows it as being in Manhattan Twp, Riley Co, KS.
In other places she has it as Manhatten, Soldier Twp, Jackson Co, KS
And then a Sunrise cemetery, Manhattan, KS
Researching the SHELBYs that are buried in Sunset in the 1920s and 1940s.
May I presume it should be:
Sunset Cemetery, Manhattan Twp, Manhattan, Riley Co, KS?
