Richard Copeland & Telitha, MO and Kansas 1870 – and later

Looking for anyone that has any information on the Richard Copeland family. Or can do Census Lookups in Kansas after 1880. Also can anyone explain why the 1880 census is listed for Osage, Bourbon KS, they seem far apart on the map.

Richard was born in Roane Co. TN about 1835 he married Telitha Wyatt 1855 in Roane County. He was on the Union Co. TN census in 1860 age 24 with wife Telitha age 20 and children Martha 3, and John H. age 1. The H is most likely for Henry, John Henry is a family name.

I find him again in Kansas, Osage Bourbon, in 1880 he’s age 45, with wife L.C. Copeland age 43. I don’t know if LC is a new wife of and abbreviation?
Children (Margaret not listed –may be married she would be age 23)
John H. Copeland age        20, born TN
S.T. Copeland (dau) age        18, born TN
Samuel H Copeland age        16, born MO
William C. Copeland age        13, born MO
Charles F. Copeland age        11, born MO
Minnie Copeland age        8, born MO
Mena M. Copeland age        3, born MO
Jason C. Copeland age        1, born KS

I can provide ancestors for Richard and Telitha, does anyone have descendants?
I would also like to know if anyone know if Martha Copeland married in MO or Kansas, and husbands name if known.

Regards … Jim
