Joseph and Charity were enumerated on the 1895 census, Scranton Twp, Osage County, KS:
Joseph, age 76, b. OH, Vol. 277, p. 26
Charity, age 69, b. OH, Vol. 277, p. 26
A man named Joseph Bryan, died 6 Dec 1896 (IR only) is buried in the Burlingame Cemetery, Osage County, KS.
Charity is found on the 1900 census, Alameda County, CA, living with her daughter, Jenny C. (Bryan) Doane and son-in-law, Prince A. Doane.
Jenny and Prince Doane were still in Alameda County, in 1910, but Charity is not found with them.
Jenny Doane was still in Alameda County, CA, in 1920.
Jenny's son, Frank Isaac Doane, b. 8 May 1887, CA, died 7 January 1947, Alameda County, CA.
