John & Lydia Henkel 1850 -1900

John and Lydia HENKEL were married in Jersey County IL May 1882. In 1889 their names are mentioned as joining with Neighbors and voting to establish the Rose Hill School on the corner of the William B. ROE farm, Rockwell Twnship.
In 1894 John Henkel signs a marriage license for his Daughter Mary Mae Henkel to marry William B. Roe
The 1900 Census of Greene county IL Shows Lydia HENKEL, widow living in Greene county with step daughters Della and Delia Henkel. Jersey Il cemetery records note with John's first wife that her husband is buried in Greene County IL.
SO John probably died in Greene county between 1894 & 1900.
If anyone has information on this family it would be appreciated.
Glenn Dunavan.
