clara died 1845 leaving him with 3 daughters
1) Mary Jane 1839-1911 m. John S. Crockett
2) Sarah 1841-1865 m) David Lenon
3) REbecca 1845-1919 m) Joseph Stephens (lived Indianapolis)

John married 2) 9-21-1846 Clark co., Oh
Catherine Newman
7-17-1823 Clark Co., Oh -- 12-26-1860 Cass co., In
they came to Cass Co between 1853 and 1855
