In an old family Bible it has the marriage date as March 26, 1886, but at least one of the other marriages have been a day off, as well.
Another website had the marriage record with R.F. Perkins, rather than R.J. Perkins, otherwise the information was the same. This website did state that the information was taken from a typed index and not original records.
I really appreciate the look-up.
This Reuben Perkins was born 10 Sep 1858 in Indiana, the son of John S. Perkins and Mary Ellen Kyle.
Reuben and Effie had a couple of children, Imo Avis and Harold Pressler, that tied young, after that I have no further record of this family.
