I live in Washington State, north of Seattle, and I have weathered some 80 summers. Born in Nebraska, to Washington in 1948. We may not be cousins, until back into Penn.late 1600s. My furtherest back is Archibald Fraim , perhaps a son of James Frame/Fraim of Philadelphia area with will proved there quite early. That Archibald, had sons Archibald Jr and William and they settled Bullitt and Jefferson Cos Ky in 1780s. William is my line, who had a daughter Mary/Polly Fraim who married Joseph Schooling 1807 my third great grandparents.

I was in contact with a lady in 1994 who was from Sarah Frame b 12 Apr 1767 who married 20 Jan 1789 David Magill.
She says", For years, trying to prove that David P. Magill was the son of David Magill, finally a researcher found the Bible records listing David Magill's marriage to Sarah Frame on January 17 1789 and listing the birth of thrir children , including David Paterson Magill".
"Their first child was John, then Betsy, then Caleb, and then Samuel" She did not say any more about the children, other than trying to see how the naming went.
" David b ca 1751-61 probably in Augusta co. VA. was s/o John Magill. The family moved to Lincoln Co. Ky probably 1783. David's older brother , James b 12 April 1753 married in Va Sarah Frame. The immigrant , I believe was John's father William. who came first to PA then Augusta co. VA."

I have not heard any thing more from her, and only have her post office address, no e-mail.

To see the Bible records of James and Sarah (Frame) Magill go to the genforum Frame site and read messages #245, and 933. Howard Boswell
