BRANCH, DYER, GORHAM Morris Co., Kansas

For years, I've looked for information on my ggrandfather, Shermond C. (Sherman?) BRANCH. He married Eliza Ann DYER, probably about 1889-90. They had my grandmother, Rhoda Viola Dyer on Oct. 30, 1890. Many of our Dyers lived in Morris County before emigrating to Washington State. Eliza and Rhoda Branch came to Washington, and Eliza died in Olympia in 1894. Rhoda was raised by a Dyer uncle and his wife. Shermond (Sherman) BRANCH simply disappears into thin air after about 1892. He apparently didn't move to Washington and is said to have died when Rhoda was about 10 -- about 1900. But that is ALL we know. Can anyone help me find him???

Also, Eliza's mother, also Eliza Ann -- Stringham, Dyer, "married" a GORHAM (John, I think) while living in Kansas. But she later learned he was still married to another woman.

Any information would be SO very much appreciated. I want to learn what happened to my ggrandfather. THANKS! Tom
