Stanford--Solomon Rapids 1880s?

I don't know that my STANFORD ancestors lived in Mitchell Co., but they moved around a lot in that area. I have placed them in Marshall, Cloud, and Washington counties & still haven't accounted for many years they were in Kansas. The only clue I have to the birthplace of my great-grandmother Mamie STANFORD is what she put on her daughter's birth certificate--Solomon, Kansas. I have found 3 possible "Solomons" in Kansas--Solomon in Dickinson Co; Solomon township in Cloud Co.; and now Solomon Rapids in Mitchell Co.! Mamie appears to have been born in January 1888 or possibly 1886. Her parents were William B. & Barbara HEYDORF STANFORD. Siblings were William H., Fred, Anna, Walter, Harriett (Hattie), Grace, and Oscar. I'd appreciate any ideas for checking out if these STANFORDS lived in Mitchell Co. around 1886-1888. Thanks.

Robin
