Hi Donna---
The little I know of the Emery Shafe/Anna Jacobs Bell story goes like this:
Emery and his first wife Madge were divorced in 1925. Emery moved to McGill, Nevada where he got a job with a copper company (possibly Kennecott Copper) as a smelter. He and Anna were married on December 23, 1929 in Ogden, Utah. No children came from this marriage, and Anna passed away on May 29, 1938. (I think I have a copy of their marriage certificate).

P.S. You wouldn't happen to know anything about a certain Charles Jacobs from somewhere in Kansas, would you? If so, I'd like to hear more about him.
