There were Bourcys in Cape Vincent, Jefferson Co., NY early on. I am working on a line that goes:

Louise Myrtle Bourcy (1884-1987), born to Charles Bourcy (1850-1926) and Virginia Colon (1855- ), son of Eloy Bourcy (1815- ), son of John Francis Bourcia. I believe both John Francis and Eloy were born in France.

Charles and Virginia moved to Minnesota, where dau. Louise was born.
