Looking for information about James E. Sims and wife Elizabeth "Bettie" Clark.
They are enumerated in the 1880 census for Valley, Miami County, Kansas - both born in TN. His age 51 her age 37.
It is my understanding they resided at Fontana, Miami County, Kansas. He is said to have been a Baptist Minister.
They married 17 May 1859 at McMinnville, Warren Co., TN.
Think both were born in WarrenCo., TN. Him about 1829; her about 1843.
Best evidence indicated that James father, Claiborne Sims, (c.1795-c.1830's) died in Warren Co., TN. while James was quite young.
I've managed to piece together some history of this Sims line and would very much like knowing any further information about James E. Sims and wife Elizabeth "Bettie" Clark and if any children were born to them. Also when and where James & Elizabeth died and are buried.
