Wichita, Kansas, Yentruoc lake back in the 1950s....Update

Update: I just remembered that the name of the lake was the opposite of Courtney....Yentruoc. I looked up that name and found a obit for a Courtney Davis and it listed a Yentruoc Lodge, in Southeast Harvey County and I thought that was the direction from Newton, so people from Wichita would have gone to the lake, too. The lake had a sandy beach, You could buy pop, it had a juke box and you could dance and there were those wooden dock-floats connected by cable.....it was like a resort in Kansas

....I didn't think that I was right with the name, until I found the ob.....I stopped thinking about it and the name came to me....<grin>
