Roosevelt Grade School,

I'm interested in learning about the history of Roosevelt Grade School, 701 East Broadway and Magnolia Streets, Newton, Kansas. I would like to learn when the school was built and when the school was demolished and when it was replaced with a park named Roosevelt. And photos of the school would be great.

Also, I would like to know more the teachers: Mrs. Waters, 2nd grade; Mrs. Anderson, 3rd grade; Miss McPherson, 4th grade; Mrs. Hawkins, 5th grade and Mr. Alvin Hasenback, principle and six grade teacher.

Would love to learn some general information about the school.....school events held at the school and so on.
