CHARLES ASCHENBRENNER NOVEMBER 5, 1916 MAY 18, 2006 On Thursday, May 18, 2006, Charles Aschenbrenner passed away in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Kathleen (nee Kennedy) in May of 2003; his parents, Adalbert and Albertina; eleven brothers and sisters. Charles is survived by three daughters, Sandra (John) Bloski, Brenda (Ron) Gottselig, Teana Schuster; five grandchildren, Brad (Monique) Bloski, Carrie (Rod) Olynyk, Christopher Schuster, Chad and Ashley Gottselig; four greatgrandchildren, Colton, Connor, Devon and Mykenzi; one sister-in-law, Isobel Murray; as well as many nieces and nephews. Charles was born in Southey, SK in 1916 and moved to Jameson as a young boy. He married Kathleen Kennedy on March 17, 1943 and moved to Regina, SK. Charlie was a very warm, loving and generous person, who loved being with his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A private family celebration of Charles' life will be held at a later date. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services, Regina. It appears that the census transcriber mis-read the Aschenbrenner name
and interpreted it as Archambeault.
The Adalbert Aschenbrenner family was living in Southey, Saskatchewan, which is north of Regina, Saskatchewan at the time of the census in 1911.
