Thank you for your information. I appreciate your efforts however I have done alot of research lately and have come up with some pretty good stuff. LaVaughn had a mix up when he was in the U.S. Air Force and his B day was changed on record. His actual B day was Feb. 10, 1930. His cousin Oma Lee verified this in a letter she wrote to me. LaVaughn (my father) was more oftenly referred to as George L. Surber. He is buried in the Liberal Kansas cemetary as is his father George Victor. G.V.'s mother Elizabeth B. and his first wife Nettie Eula are also buried there. I know LaVaughn had a brother Luther who married Zola Armetta Tracy. Zola was Nettie's sister. 2 Surber brothers married 2 Tracy sisters. These Surbers came from Kentucky. If anyone wants to know more about this lineage or can fill in any blanks I have a public tree on ancestry.com. Surber(Borbon)Family Tree. Thanks again!
