I am looking for Lorenzo Daw Short's descendents. He was married to Judea Ann Pearman. They were last living in Narka, Kansas. Both are buried there with a very unusual gravestone (aleast I never heard of anything like it and Dad never seen it anywhere else like this). Lorenzo died Nov 22, 1904 just short of 4 months after their son, William was hit by a train. Their children were: 1) Burt Bird Short 2) Edwin Richard Short 3) Samuel Short 4) Thomas Jefferson Short 5) Sarah Alice Short 6) Oliver Lincoln Short 7) Rosa May Short 8) William Sherman Short 9) George W. Short 10) Franklin H. Short 11) Clara Bell Short 12) Charles B Short William had two children. Scott Short and Eva Short. Their mother was Lena Black. When they divorce the two children were living with one of the Short's aunt. When the court hearing was finalize, the two children decide to go with Mom since they had not seen her for a very long. Scott was known to say that was the worth mistake he ever made~ My grandfather when he was still alive believe that Lena, Scott, and Eva move down to the Southwestern part of Oklahoma. That was the last that Scott had any contact with the Short's family. Scott had a chance to get some of the William's chests and his rifle if he had a chance to go meet with the old friend of William. Scott never had a chance to do so, and so all those things were lost. UNLESS, someone in the family eventually went and got them. But, we have no clue if this ever happen. Please contact me if you know of anything about Lorenzo's descendents! I would like to get our family reconnected to the family. We are the lost William's children descendents! Thank You!
