Rosa/Rosie Kirkland b. abt 1879, probably in Franklin Co., Kansas. Rosa, a daughter of Robert H. Kirkland and Mary E. (McCullough?) Rosa married Fred McDonald 1897 in Franklin Co., KS. Fred died in a house fire 1914 Rantoul, Franklin Co., KS. Rosa and Fred had two daughters: Ethel M. McDonald b. abt 1902 KS and Edith Corrine McDonald b. abt 1904 KS. I have not been able to locate Rosa and her daughters after 1915. At that time they were living in Ottawa, Franklin Co. KS. For years I have tried to find a descendant of the above daughters.
There are two sisters I found in 1920 Streator, LaSalle Co., IL census. They are age 16 and 18 with no adult living with them. It looks like it is these girls, but where is their mother??
