Hi Vicki,
Thank so much for your response. That pretty much cinches the fact that they were married before coming to Oregon. Yes, Salina is Elizabeth's sister. The only brother I have for Frederick is Charles; not sure about Henry. Born in Wisconsin makes the connection likely, however. I'll follow that further.
Do you have a site I where I can get a copy of that 1875 KS census?
