Well that's why I posted the email address for the library. Maybe they can tell you if he is buried there.

Also you can contact your local library to see if they participate in the interlibrary loan program. The Kansas State Historical Society has microfilm of Kansas newspapers available through the program: http://www.kshs.org/library/news.htm
