My GGG grandfather was William Hogg (born Scotland about 1825) he and his family arrived in Canada on a boat from Scotland. Also on the boat was the family of Gavin Thomas or Thompson. My GGG grandfather married the daughter of Gavin Thomas/Thompson. Her name was Margaret Minto Thomas/Thompson. She was born in Scotland around 1835.
William and Margaret moved to Iowa and had several children, among them was a Thomas Hogg. Thomas Hogg is my GG grandfather. He moved to Kansas and married Emma McClannahan. They had a son named Harley Andrew Hogg. Harley Andrew Hogg is my G grandfather. He married Grace Lois Goff in Kansas and had a son named Harold Lee Hogg. Harold Lee Hogg is my grandfather and he married Geraldine Laverne Martin (Daughter of William Roscoe Martin and Edith Spears) in Kansas. They relocated to California and had a son named Gregg Hogg who is my father.
