Luther Christian Scott married Minnie A. Bennett on August 19, 1883 in California Township, Kansas. Does anyone have any information for Minnie (Wilhemina?) A. Bennett? I do not know if they had any children.
Luther Christian Scott married Dora Ann Clark in 1887 and they had several children, Fred Scott, Francis Scott, Edith Myrtle Scott, May Scott, Blanch Scott and Hazel Scott.
Luther Christian Scott was born July 11, 1863, in Grant Township, Henry County, Indiana, and died in 1936 in Coffey County, Kansas. I believe his father to be Eli Scott possibly from Indiana. Eli Scott married Eleanor Reader in 1862. Eleanor Reader was born December 8, 1842, at Oak Ridge mm, Grant, Indiana.
Edith Myrtle Scott was my grandmother. She was born on September 17, 1889, near Burlington in Coffey County, Kansas. She married Clifford Orlando Huffman on February 28, 1907. She died July 21, 1961 at the KU Medical Center, Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas and is interred in Glendale Cemetery, Burlington, Coffey County, Kansas.
Any information on any of these individuals would be appreciated.
