I am looking for information on Orville Carper who m Ida Mae Baird in 1885. It may have been in McPherson, Ks. Ida and her family moved to McPherson around 1870. Both Orville and Ida where teachers in Mound Ridge in the 1900 census. There son Orlan was 12 years old at the time of the census. They are not in the next census. Ida's father Robert Baird was my gg grandfather and would like to find members of the family. Ida had a sister Mary Ella also a teacher in the area. Brothers were Wm, Albert, Robert L.(my grandfather) and Guy. Thank you Barbara Baird Hill.
