My Ggrandfather is also John H. Hogue and was married to Martha Matilda Branscomb in 1879 in Putnam MO. Martha's parents were William P. Branscomb and Emma Myers. However, Martha Matilda married William Strait in 1886. She had 2 sons by John H. Hogue, Oda Edgar Hogue and Shirley Everett Hogue. I would really appreciate hearing from you Ted. This makes us cousins. Also the Stackhouse name comes through Oda's wife, Flora Ellen Stackhouse, my grandmother. You can contact me through my e-mail at Christiloes@sbcglobal.net.
