Laura Pardee
I am looking for more information on Laura Pardee and her ancestors. Here is what I have, possibly you can help me with the areas I have blank.
Alphus W. Griffith and Laura A. Pardee married June 1, 1848 in Conklin, Broome County, New York, and filed for divorce on January 5, 1888, in McHenry County, Illinois.
*Laura A. Pardee was born 1832 in Connecticut. She is the daughter of Samuel Pardee and Juliann H. Jerome.
Children of Alphus and Laura:
1. Lorrenzo Griffith born 1849 in Conklin, Broome County, New York
2. Francis Griffith born 1851 in New York
3. *Spencer A. Griffith born April 6, 1853 in Illinois and died January 27, 1923 Colorado
4. J. P. Griffith born 1853 in Pompton Plains, Passaic County, New Jersey
5. Jerome I. Griffith born 1854 in Pompton Plains, Passaic County, New Jersey
6. Sylvester Griffith, born 1855 in Pompton Plains, Passaic County, New Jersey. Married Laura Andrews.
7. Walter A. Griffith born 1857 in Kansas died August 18, 1858 in McHenry County, Illinois
8. Emma Griffith born 1862 in Illinois
9. William L. Griffith born May 30, 1865 in Illinois and died January 23, 1898 in Kansas. William married Mary E. Marsh 1886
10. Josephine Griffith born January 20, 1867
11. Albert Griffith born 1859 In Illinois married Belle
12. Doc Griffith
13. Imogene Griffith born Illinois
Samuel Pardee and Juliann H. Jerome
Samuel was born May 2, 1803 in Connecticut and died June 26, 1873 in Conklin, Broome County, New York. He married Juliann on June 15, 1825.
Juliann H. Jerome was born 1806 in Connecticut and died 1891.
They had one know child: Laura A. Pardee.
Samuel was the son of Samuel Pardee and Laura Ann Ward
Samuel was born 1794 in East Haven, Connecticut and died Dec 1804 in Harwinton, Connecticut. He was the son of Leavit Pardee and Elizabeth Hemingway.
Laura Ann Ward was born April 13, 1786 and died Mary 4, 1871 in Binghamton, New York. She had another spouse: David Carrington whom she married in 1812.
They had one known child:
Samuel –as mentioned above
