Saw your response to a message on John Zink Sr. this morning. I am so excited. George Zink is also my husband's great uncle. He is related to George through his brother, Lewis Dewey Zink. Aunt Ida's maiden name was Peterson. I have been doing some searching on the Zink family more recently. My husband's father, Lewis Leroy Zink started the searching and gave to me his notes and charts that he had done, and asked me to promise that I would keep it up. Sadly, Lewis L. passed away about 2 years ago. I am trying to pick up where he left off.
I met George and Ida back in the 70's. They were such wonderful people. I remember meeting their daughter also.
Have you done any research on the Zink's? I would be very proud to hear from you.
