I'm not related but just a volunteer researcher. I looked for Adolph/Adolf Manninen/Maninon in the census records and here is what I found--
1910 census - Elm River Twp., Houghton Co., Michigan - p. 126A:
Adolph Manninen, 26, Finland, immigrated to US in 1907, laborer in copper mine

1920 census - Precinct 10, Silver Bow Co., Montana - p. 105:
Adolph Manninen, 34, Finland, immigrated in 1907, miner in copper mines

1930 census - Bute, Silver Bow Co., Montana - p. 49A:
Adolf Maninon, 43, Finland, md at age 22, immigrated to US in 1907, miner in copper mines

Hope this helps you a little. Good luck.
